The Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) Research Team is dedicated to safeguarding over 1 billion endpoint devices globally from cybersecurity threats using cutting-edge technology and innovation. As cyber-attacks grow more sophisticated, MDE assists consumers and enterprises in detecting, investigating, and automatically disrupting advanced attacks and data breaches on their networks. We are looking for a new team member who is passionate about data science and data engineering to help us leverage the latest research and innovation to protect Defender customers. Our team operates as an agile unit, experimenting with the latest tools and technologies to design and implement solutions for critical business challenges, such as measuring protection effectiveness and applying generative AI to enhance Defender protection. As business needs evolve and technology advances, our projects remain dynamic, and therefore we are seeking a new team member with the mentality for critical problem solving, adaptability, and a strong desire to learn.
