Microsoft Azure is looking for a Director of Data to lead a high-performing team of data engineers and data scientists in building scalable, high-impact data solutions. This role is instrumental in shaping Azure’s data strategy, optimizing customer experiences, and driving business growth through data-driven product innovation. You will work closely with global teams, including product managers and engineers, to develop and leverage data insights that directly inform product decisions, feature development, and user experiences. As part of the Azure Experiences & Ecosystems (AX&E) team, you will play a critical role in enhancing Azure’s platform by delivering user-centric, data-driven features and ensuring seamless interactions for customers.

As the Director of Data, you will lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team in designing and delivering data-driven solutions that fuel Azure’s growth and customer satisfaction. In working closely with product managers, designers, and engineers you will help translate data insights into impactful product improvements, and present technical insights as well as strategic recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, empowering informed decision-making across the organization.
