In Q4 2023, Intel announced PSG will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024, with ongoing support from Intel. This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future.

In this role, you play a pivotal role in managing and growing a team of software development managers and engineers responsible for modeling and developing tools from a wide range of FPGA from small form factor with low-power and cost-optimized FPGA to mid-range FPGA all the way to our flagship high performance FPGA. The team is responsible for developing simulation models and easy to use Soft-IP, Quartus tools ranging from peripheral placement and device mapping. The team also collaborate very closely with our partner silicon and Soft-IP teams in Penang leveraging your knowledge of FPGA hardware, logic design, board design, semiconductors and chip layout to provide architectural and technical guidance and ensure that sound engineering practices are followed.


This role also requires that you oversees software development across the lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, debug, validation, optimization, customer engagement, and product support. You will be responsible for enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results. Drives results by inspiring people, role modeling Intel values, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Degree in software/computer/Electronics engineering.

  • Minimum 10+ years of industry working experience leading team of managers and engineers.

  • Knowledge of FPGA/EDA software tools.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
