Job Description

We are looking for a hard-working and experienced System on Chip (SoC) platform architect to join our team and work on ground breaking platforms. You will be responsible for defining, designing, and implementing SoC platforms that meet the performance, power, and security requirements of our customers. You will also collaborate with other engineers and partners across hardware, software, and firmware domains to ensure the quality and functionality of the platforms.

What you'll be doing:

  • Define platform architecture and specifications based on the product requirements and market trends.

  • Design and implement SoC platform features using C/C++ and scripting with python.

  • Perform verification, validation, and testing of the SoC platforms using various methods and tools.

  • Optimize the SoC platforms for power, performance, and cost efficiency.

  • Debug and troubleshoot any issues related to the SoC platforms and provide technical support to customers and partners.

  • Document and communicate the SoC platform architecture and design to internal and external teams.

  • Keep abreast of the latest developments and innovations in the SoC and PC domains.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • At least 8 years of experience in designing and implementing SoC platforms for PC applications.

  • Knowledge of PC architecture, operating systems, drivers, firmware, and security features.

  • PC system experience with the industry/ecosystem.

  • Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting with python.

  • Familiarity with SoC design methodologies, verification techniques, power optimization, and testing strategies.

  • Experienced in firmware digital signatures, Security versioning, and FW measured boot methodologies.

  • Strong understanding of CPU, GPU, memory, interconnect, and peripheral interfaces and protocols.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

The base salary range is 180,000 USD - 339,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
