Description
Are you a passionate Software Engineer looking to make a difference in the digital content industry? Our metadata management team is seeking a skilled backend Engineer to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, operations, QA, editorial, marketing, business, and software engineering.


AS A KEY MEMBER OF OUR TEAM, YOU WILL:
Design and Build Innovative Solutions: Implement and maintain solutions for managing metadata and content powering experiences on Apple Devices. Your work will directly impact across apple services.

Excellence in System Evolution: With a focus on performance, efficiency, and simplicity, you will identify opportunities to enhance our legacy systems using new technology. Help us improve the systems that underlay the content delivery to over a billion people worldwide.

Collaborate Across Teams: Your strong communication and leadership skills will be vital in fostering collaboration and delivering exceptional results.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer with at least 5 years of experience building scalable microservices.
  • Proficiency in one or more languages: Java, .Net, C++, or Python.
  • Strong experience modeling data in relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies independently.
  • Passion for collaboration and a team-oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Expertise in Java
  • Experience building on cloud services
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and related tooling (Helm, Spinnaker, Kompose)
  • Experience in the digital content industry is highly valued.
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
